Hobbit Gardens/Erth Gatherings is organic gardens,greenhouse and shop located on 27 1/2 acres among the woods,ravines and fields of West Central Indiana.Garden Tours,Workshops,Classes and Retreats are offered to individuals,groups and schools.A wide selection of herb,perennial and vegetable plants and product are available during the growing season.The Erth Gatherings Shop is where the bounty and harvest from the land is gathered and wreaths,swags,herbal vinegars, creams,salves,tinctures,herb tea blends and herbs for culinary,tea and medicine are created.The shop also has the works of various local artists.Books on gardening,organics and herbs are availableThere is an Apprenticeship Program open to any interested in learning.Organic gardening, growing and using herbs in the garden and home,medicine making,sustainable living,wild plants ,nutrition & whole foods are some of the areas of learning thru workshops,retreats,classes and apprenticeship programs.
