About Us
It is hard to beat the setting of the Metamora Farmers Market on the Square in Metamora. Patrons enjoy the shade of the 100+ year old trees of the Park Square that overhang the street.
Also located in the adjacent park is a traditional gazebo and bandstand, both of which are used throughout the summer for live entertainment. Drinking fountains and handicap-accessible restrooms are available in the park and Courthouse, respectively. If you want to take a couple more steps back in time, visit the Villiger's Blacksmith Shop and Adlai Stevenson Home, each only 1 block from the market.
Throughout the history of Metamora, the Square has been the center of commercial, cultural and social activity and remains the same today. Restaurants, retailers and essential services line the square keeping it vibrant day-in and day-out. Come see for yourself and enjoy freshly grown produce straight from those who planted it. Lincoln enjoyed it and so will you, honest!
