Eastern Broccoli Project

The Eastern Broccoli Project is a USDA-funded research and extension project that is developing broccoli adapted to Eastern production with the goal of having substantially more broccoli raised in the East than currently. One element is to enhance the distribution channels available to mid-sized vegetable growers who don't fit the large-volume (1000 boxes at a time) distribution that currently moves the majority of broccoli. We hope to use Market Maker to match Eastern producers and distributors.
